MY EXPERIENCE
More about my work with Nike and competitive figure skating career.
NIKE PROJECT MOVE
In August 2020, I was selected as a member of UT's first-ever Cohort of Nike Project Move.
Nike Project Move is a student-led initiative to inspire a diversity of movement in every corner of campus. Led by Nike and UT experts, this year-long mentorship and training experience honed my brand storytelling and marketing skills while equipping me to create change on campus through movement. My mentors at Nike have taught me to be where my feet are, edit to amplify, plan for the unexpected, obsess the details, keep things tight when necessary, obliterate boundaries and use my influence to guide others.
My Nike Project Move application video and my team's pitchback presentation are featured below.

APPLICATION VIDEO
Here is the video I wrote, filmed and edited that landed me the position on UT Austin's first-ever cohort of Nike Project Move.
In this video, I introduce my diverse background in communications, describe my 13-year competitive figure skating career, discuss my passion for movement and involvement on UT's campus, and express why I would be a great fit for the program.
TEAM PRISM PITCHBACK
I edited and produced this video which was presented to a panel of Nike experts, marketing professionals and UT administrators in August of 2020. This pitchback presentation was completed with my team of five students, Team Prism, on the fourth day of our Nike Project Move Kickoff Workshop. In this brief clip, we introduce our project concept of matching students with a movement color archetype based on results from an algorithmic personality quiz.

UT COHORT CAPSTONE VIDEO
As the Capstone Video project lead, I worked side-by-side with a professional video editing company to storyboard, film and critique this video recapping the UT Austin Cohort's experience in Nike Project Move. I led my team by providing presentations with filming guidelines and shot lists, and I delegated, gathered and organized video clips from my nine other teammates under tight deadlines.
FIGURE SKATING
In my 13 years of competitive figure skating, my most notable achievements include becoming a six-time National Medalist in Solo Dance, U.S. Figure Skating Gold Medalist in four disciplines, and 2017 National Champion in International Solo Dance. I trained three to four hours a day, six days a week, 52 weeks a year, and had the privilege of training and competing with world-class athletes and coaches across the country.
In 2017, I had the pleasure of collaborating with U.S. Figure Skating when I pitched and pioneered the content creator position for the National Solo Dance Series. At both National Championships and a local competition, I captured and edited innovative figure skating videos for U.S. Figure Skating’s website and social media platforms.
These video blogs are featured below, along with several of my skating performances.
