ABOUT ME

23-year-old Texas Ex from Chicago, living in Charleston.

From a young age, my life has been driven by a passion for two things: storytelling and sport.

Growing up in the Chicago area, I first discovered my love for broadcast journalism at Geneva High School. Through GTV, I acquired the skills of anchoring, reporting, directing and producing for daily live broadcasts and filming and editing my own news packages. Alongside journalism, I pursued my passion for figure skating for thirteen years. I am a six-time National Medalist in Solo Dance, U.S. Figure Skating Gold Medalist in four disciplines and 2017 National Champion in International Solo Dance. My love for sport has molded me into a committed, determined, goal-setting individual who does not stop until the job is done.

I graduated from The University of Texas at Austin's Moody College of Communication with honors in May of 2022 with degrees in Journalism and Advertising and a Business minor.

At UT, I gained extensive broadcast experience through my work as a news intern at KXAN and an anchor, reporter and producer for Texas Student Television. Through intensive journalism courses at UT, I honed the skills of video editing with Adobe Premiere Pro, audio editing with Adobe Audition and AP style print broadcast writing as well as pitching, interviewing and reporting.

One of the most impactful experiences of my undergraduate career was serving as one of ten student leaders who made up the first-ever UT Austin Cohort of Nike Project Move. Over the course of this nine month program, I worked side-by-side with Nike marketing experts, UT administrators, marketing agencies and other Nike partners in the areas of project management, brand storytelling and consumer insights. I further developed my skillset in inbound marketing, video content production and website, blog and social media management as a marketing intern at Mission Critical Partners in 2021. During my senior year at UT, I continued my work inspiring diversity of movement on campus with Nike and UT RecSports as a corporate production assistant.

My latest stop -- Charleston, South Carolina, where I landed in July of 2022 to begin my TV career as a morning traffic anchor and reporter at WCBD News 2. On my one-year anniversary at the NBC affiliate, I stepped into the role of midday anchor. You can catch my live, up-to-the-minute traffic reports weekday mornings from 4:30-7:30 a.m., join me at the desk for News 2 Midday weekdays from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. and tune in for my What Drives You Crazy segment every Thursday.

I am a driven, highly organized and multifaceted individual who is known by others as a hard worker, creative problem solver and team player. Above all, I’m a storyteller at heart, and look forward to a career of positively impacting my community by sharing important stories, both inside and outside of the newsroom.
